July 14th, 2019 was the date we planned our 2nd Annual NIHAA Summer Picnic.

Dreaming about summer always brings certain images to mind, and the fondest memories are that of our picnic time spend with our families. So, as NIHAA family or as ONE Kutumbh, we wished to reminisce our good old times, and spend some memorable time with each other, sitting on summer picnic table with crusty appetizers and yummy food, day at the beach with friends and long walks in the sun.

Picnic Planning was done in manner where everyone involved in planning and execution had firmly gone in ‘GO’ mode, acknowledging the fact that this gorgeous weather is limited. So NIHAA Team worked effortlessly in planning, execution of this “2nd Annual NIHAA SUMMER PICNIC” with full determination to make July 14th Sunday a memorable one.

We all love the idea of a lazy feast, lingered over with friends in a beautiful spot, and a long summer afternoon is the perfect time to organise one – so Grafton Lake was perfect choice where we decided to bask in the glory of Cricket World Cup Match to conjure that feeling of blissful escape with close friends and family with our pretty picnic party spread that included – Appetizers, Cold Drinks, Chips, Lunch with dessert, high tea and other delicious picnic spread that filled in the entire ambience with good music, combined with warmth and feeling of community care! The wide, green open spaces was just perfect for different kind of fun in the sun so as the day progressed. Kids unveiled their utmost energy and participated with full enthusiasm in 3-legged race, spoon and marble games, volleyball, badminton and adhering to the instructions for the games and winning it. Winners of these games were cheered aloud and then to relax, they went to the beach nearby. Adults enjoyed and participated in these games with great zeal. There were different rounds of these games on Popular demand too.

Thinking about the environment too that never missed our mind in this Picnic – we took care of “Recycling” our waste products and minimal use of Plastic.

Tea, Chilled Beer, Cold Drinks, Water melon, cookies and chips were some of the refreshments that kept the mood and spirits on all time high!

It was time to let our hair down, take a break from daily hustle and bustle and simply enjoy the summer weather together in an environment that encourages everyone to create lasting memories that are full of laughter, smiles and sunshine.

Saying “thank you” and acknowledging everyone’s effort in making this PICNIC an everlasting memory is never enough, so a Thank you speech by the president of Team NIHAA was delivered to appreciate contribution of our sponsors – SYSCO of Clifton Park, DeCresente of Mechanicville, Guryam Singh, Vipin Matta, Tejraj Hada and warm welcome was extended to new NIHAA members who joined our family.

Special Thanks to “Spicy Mint” for catering delicious meals and making arrangements to manage it all so well.

The journey is long and there are many milestones to achieve, but with dreams in our mind and warmth in our heart, NIHAA Team promises to make every event a memorable one, and community care is what will always behold us! As the sunset and cool breezed evening approached, we retrieved back to our abode – relaxed and the thought prevailed that it’s a great platform that brings the Community together and may NIHAA grows multi folds and rise like a Phoenix, where we can all savour taste of Community Care, Team Spirit, Family and Giveback to Society.

Kudos to NIHAA Team for managing, planning and execution of this Summer Picnic in such an organized and planned manner. It was perfect amalgamation of fun food with lots of entertainment around.

So Proud to be NIHAA member!!!
